4th July Irish America Fest 2017 Saturday 1st  July – Wednesday 5th July 2017

Enjoy an action packed programme of events for all the family in New Ross for Ireland’s official July 4th celebrations, Irishirishamerica America Fest. This will be the 5th year the town will celebrate the U.S. holiday in style.

The events will get off to a start with a reading of the Declaration of Independence followed by a Civil Ceremony Raising of the Flag at the Emigrant Flame. For music lovers, Jazz and Blues will be on offer.

Other events include a Boston Tea Party re-enactment, a market at the quayside organized by members of the Wexford Food Family food producers, BBQs at a several local establishments, live music bands and entertainment on the Quayside followed by a giant fireworks display over the river Barrow.

The Wexford County Flower & Garden Festival Saturday 1st July –  Sunday 9th July 2017

The Wexford Garden Trail’s events planned to take place in July for the Wexford County Flower & Garden Festival. In celebration of the Co. Wexford Garden and Flower Club’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Show at Johnstown Castle.garden

Trail members offering interesting events at their own locations throughout the County from the evening of Sunday 2nd July.

These events are taking place throughout the County and are a fabulous experience for budding and experienced gardeners to get practical tips from Garden Celebrities & Wexford Gardeners and Garden Centres.

What makes this garden trail special is the unique range of large and small gardens & garden centres which are lovingly cared for. Visit them to get great ideas to take home, see a wide selection of plants, shrubs and trees growing in them or even buy some along the way to plant in your own garden.

Southeast Country Music Festival Wexford Sunday 30th July 2017

A great family day out in the sunny Southeast! A stellar line-up of artists includes Nathan Carter, Mike Denver, Jimmy Buckley, Cliona Hagan and Lee Matthews.

Blackstairs Blues Festival Friday 8th – Monday 11th September 2017

The Blackstairs Blues Festival Enniscorthy, is Irelands longest running blues festival. The festival guarantees all locals and visitobluesrs an exciting musical weekend each September in a beautiful historical town of the South East of Ireland.

They has been lucky to have some of the finest blues performers, who along with touring the international circuit, come to play in Enniscorthy.The Blues band perform in the many fine music venues that vary in size from the intimate and traditional to the more modern and spacious which are located on either side of River Slaney.
